Feed your child right for optimum academic & behavioural performance

Dearest parents,
I have issued the latest Singapore's child magazine for your leisure reading especially on page 14 & 42-44. In all Phyllis' Riccia schools, we focus a lot on educating healthy food choices regardless of age as we strongly belief in the wellness that it brings along.

Dearest children who will be taking the SA1 examination over the next 2 weeks,
I hope all of you are in the pink of health.I sincerely hope all of you are well and getting ready for the examination. A few reminders for you:
Please remember the following:
- have a healthy breakfast (but not too full, no sweetened food)
- sleep EARLY the night before the exam to have a fresh mind to be able to think well the next day
- at least 3 pencils (bring 2B pencils to shade the ovals in the OAS scripts - 2B pencils have darker and softer leads that make shading easier and faster)
- at least 2 erasers (in case 1 falls off the table and rolls away)
- coloured pencils
- a ruler
- Do CHECK your work many times to ensure ALL questions are answered.
- DO NOT leave any blank answers - always try (make smart guesses).
- For the OAS - shade the ovals FULLY and shade the CORRECT corresponding ovals
- As you are using pencils - DO NOT use correction tape (you may unknowingly "tape off" a part of your answer in so doing)

Take good care and just try your BEST for all the papers. I hereby wish you WELL for the exam!

Special dedication to all who are directly involved in the care of children: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

一日为师,终身为父(a teacher for a day is a father for a lifetime)
Time changes everything.
One truth always stays the same...
I look up to everything you are.
And I believe in you, although you never asked me to.
I will remember you,and what life put you through.
